With a logo like that, what could possibly go wrong? In a sure sign that it will take a lot more than Ambassador Rodman and an edible bouquet of goodwill to alleviate tensions with North Korea, following the death of their former client Otto Warmbier, the 22 year old American that was released from DPRK Authorities earlier last week in a coma state, Young Pioneer Tours has decided to stop offering tours of the Land of Eternal Sunshine to Americans.

According to the Chinese tour agency, “The devastating loss of Otto Warmbier’s life has led us to reconsider our position on accepting American tourists. There had not been any previous detainment in North Korea that has ended with such tragic finality and we have been struggling to process the result. Now, the assessment of risk for Americans visiting North Korea has become too high.”If you aren’t American, Young Pioneer Tours wants you to run the Pyongyang Marathon, “A run like no other."

Bottom line, if you are still keen on biking through desolate rice fields, or trudging up the Hotel of Doom to get your daily allotment of steps in, you’ll have to find another tour provider.
