No, not for their Muslim-clothing line, highlighted by their 2016 New York Fashion Week show with all models wearing hijabs, but for allegedly scamming customers out of $60 million in Mecca pilgrimage schemes.
First Travel Last Travel?
Under the firm name First Travel, the duo has yet to actually have a first customer in 2018 complete a pilgrimage to Mecca, Saudi Arabia, despite having been paid in full.
According to the judge overseeing their case the pair, “Have been proven legally and convincingly guilty of committing a criminal act together,” and in addition to the jail time must pay a fine of 10 Billion Indonesian Rupiah ($718,504).
