In case you weren’t in Hawaii earlier this month, and you managed to miss out on the Hawaii Emergency Management Agency’s 8:09 A.M. low grade heart attack, the agency accidentally sent out a mass text simply saying, “BALLISTIC MISSILE THREAT INBOUND TO HAWAII. SEEK IMMEDIATE SHELTER. THIS IS NOT A DRILL.”
Skipping over the obvious low-level government intern blame game, Hawaii’s Governor David Ige finally admitted last week, that despite knowing it was a false alarm he was unable to immediately inform his constitutes, because he’d forgotten his Twitter login.
Yes, Twitter login.
Instead, it took Ige 40 minutes to wrangle his username and password from his staff.
Oh yeah, the US Government will do great things with 5G.
