Was one of your New Year’s resolutions to stop biting your nails
over the Trump Presidency North Korea value of the dollar ? Well, for this week’s Memory Lane Monday our staff thought we’d turn to our PD Book Club pick for a little inspiration.
Rule 11 of George Washington’s Rules of Civility and Decent Behavior in Company and Conversation covers nail biting with, “Shift not yourself in the sight of others, nor gnaw your nails.”
Of course, finding a darkened corner to readjust a strap or two can be combated with better foundation garments, but if you really are trying to kick the nail biting habit, might we suggest a few coats of expensive nail polish?
On behalf of George and us here at PD, you’re welcome.
