This week’s Genius Idea Friday segment could so easily be centered on those that proclaim anyone whom says, “All Lives Matter,” is the problem, but honestly, our staff doesn’t have the stomach for it.
Clearly, those whom relish being a victim will always stay that way. At this point, there’s enough hatred spewing from iPhones, plugging up every form of social media, and at PD, we’re not about hate.
Gallows humor? Sure. Sarcasm? Most of the time. Truth? Always. So, by all means, fill your timelines with pigs and coons and whatever other venom you’ve got, because it only shows the world who you are—and we’ll talk about the edible line of Kentucky Fried Chicken nail polish instead.
RACIST!!!!!! Come on, guys. Do you know what group of people loves fried chicken? Asians! Which is why KFC decided to debut their little foray into the manicure market in Hong Kong.
Made from natural fried chickeny ingredients, the Finger Lickin’ Good nail polish range comes in two lick-able (we’re pretty sure that’s the first time that word has ever appeared on PD publications) colors: Hot & Spicy for a classic
taste take on red, and Original Recipe which is a nude meets taupe with a dash of brown shimmer.
The beat boxing music video accompanying the campaign is remarkably even weirder than the product itself, but KFC insists they’re serious about the nail polish line. “The recipe for our edible nail polish is unique and was specifically designed to hold the flavor, but to also dry with a glossy coat similar to normal nail polish.”
Of course, to be fair to KFC, what would be a better summertime picnic mani than one made of fried chicken? Right?
Wait, scratch that. You’d most likely be overrun by ants.
