It’s that special time of year, when the leaves change to bright oranges and reds, your wardrobe turns dark, and there’s that magical, spooky chill in the air. That’s right, it’s October, and with the rioting in Libya, Ahmadiney Genie’s UN threats to Israel, China running out of project cities, and our Campaigner in Chief and the media busy trying to dig up dirt on Mr.
Rogers Romney, it’s gonna be a scary one.
Of course, here at PD we’re all about month-long Halloween fun. Our manicure maniacs have gone a little mad coming up with ghoulish nail ideas. For our Memory Lane Mondays, we’ve decided to focus on our Dear Leader’s scary sayings. Hey, the election is coming up.
We’ll talk a smidge about Fall décor, and the best ways to preserve your pumpkin (not a sex joke). We have some creepy costume ideas, starting with our Cass Sunstein. We also will discuss how to add a bit of trick or treat thrill to your wardrobe this month.
The end of the week gets a bit more frightening with our new Feared Future Fridays, and our book club digs into the past with Auschwitz: A Doctor’s Eyewitness Account.
While our October articles may seem a little bleak, we promise that for Thanksgiving we will lighten up…and we’ll bring a turducken.
