1995.With Trump’s first White House Easter Egg Roll coming up, PD thought we’d look back at a few of the highlights from past hosting Presidents.

Let’s start in 1995 with the Clintons, in matching kitschy Easter attire. Though, we will say, Hillary’s eye makeup is festive without being horrifying.

Naturally, Hillary took to the microphone first with a slightly slushed, “And now I want to introduce the person that really loves the Easter Egg Roll more than anybody here I bet nearly is the President of the United States.”

Bunny love.

Interestingly enough, White House Easter bunnies have been known to get a promotion, with President George W. Bush’s bunny now serving as President Trump’s Press Secretary.

Spicer moving on up.

In a 2008 interview with Politico, Sean Spicer said that, “Kids love the Easter Bunny. There is something real special about seeing all of the families on the White House lawn.”

Nothing smacks of being Presidential like waving with a guy in a bunny suit.

Finally, in 2015, President Obama attempted to quiet the screams of children terrified by the White House bees with, “Bees are good.” As the children continued to scream, Obama checked his watch and dreamed of 2017— or so we imagine.
