Another election, another Merkel win?

With Germany going to vote for Angela Merkel as leader of the Fatherland for the fourth time in a row next week, let’s lace up our lederhosen and gaze all the way back to February 2017.

Yes, this last February, Merkel’s Government admitted that 13% of the 1.1 Million people registered as refugees in Germany were kinda sorta in the wind.

130,000 asylum seekers apparently never checked in at their official Government-designated accommodation.Germans used to be great at keeping track of people…

Don’t worry, though. Claiming that most of the refugees must have moved onto other EU countries, while the rest have, “Gone underground illegally,” overall, Merkel’s Government didn’t seem too concerned.
