What?! Another mustache showcased on an Agenda 21 Memory Lane Monday? Is PD trying to say that only the debacle man on the street has a crumb catcher? Hilter Stalin Lenin Marx Trotsky the Magician from Frosty the Snowman No way! We’d never draw such conclusions.

In any case that bit of facial fuzz belongs to Uncle Ted, the founder of the Cable News Network, otherwise known as CNN. While, Ted Turner serves as the head honcho on the UN Board of Directors, he wasn’t in on the original meetings with Gro Bruntland and Maurice Strong kicking around taglines for Our Common Future.

He did however, in 1998 (when US dollars were still kind of worth something) cough up a cool $1 billion to the United Nations to help aid Agenda 21’s implementation worldwide. Ted Turner really is a man’s man that hates man.

Say what? Well, let’s check out a few quotes from Uncle Ted to get an idea of just how great Agenda 21 is for man’s freedom.

While talking with British dunce Piers Morgan, after delighting in the death of American troops with this exchange

Piers Morgan: You made the point to me in the break there, more American servicemen have –

Uncle Ted: — are dying now from suicide over there than are dying in combat. Now that's a big check.

Piers Morgan: That’s shocking, isn’t it?

Uncle Ted: Well, what — no, I think it’s — I think it’s good, because it’s so clear that we’re programmed and we’re born to love and help each other, not to kill each other, to destroy each other. That’s an aberration. That’s left over from hundreds of years ago. It’s time for to us start acting enlightened.

Piers Morgan grabbed the reigns and steered the conversation over to the aforementioned $1 billion UN donation.

Piers Morgan: What’s it like to give away a billion dollars? I can’t even imagine.

Uncle Ted: It was a third of what I had at the time. So it was significant. You can’t do it very often. But — so I made a special occasion out of it. It was — you know, it was for the United Nations to help the poorest people in the world.

Wow, it will help the poorest people in the world? That’s fantastic, tell us more.

Uncle Ted told Audubon Magazine back in the 90’s that, “A total world population of 250-300 million people, a 95% decline from present levels, would be ideal.”

Really? So would the 99% 95% be the rich you’d be offing in favor of the poor?

Hmm...that's a lot of bodies.Uncle Ted not only explained global warming but gave a clever case on why it is to PBS in 2008, “We’re too many people; that’s why we have global warming. Too many people are using too much stuff.” He went on to tell PBS that, “On a voluntary basis, everybody in the world’s got to pledge to themselves that one or two children is it.”

It’s often pointed out that Uncle Teddy has five children.

Interestingly enough, back in 1997, Uncle Ted slowly and clearly spelled out to an American group just how he felt about them, “The United States has got some of the dumbest people in the world. I want you to know that. We know that. It’s a disgrace. I mean there have times when I have been so discouraged about my own country.”

Happy Monday, everyone!
