Calorie bomb? You bet. The glee in the George Soros’ ThinkProgress.Org branch could be heard in their write up this week about how due to Chipotle’s concern about global warming, the chain might have to stop selling guacamole.

Chipotle Mexican Grill’s annual report is about what you’d expect from a Denver, Colorado establishment.

“Increasing weather volatility or other long-term changes in global weather patterns, including any changes associated with global climate change, could have a significant impact on the price or availability of some of our ingredients. In the event of cost increases with respect to one or more of our raw ingredients we may choose to temporarily suspend serving menu items, such as guacamole or one or more of our salsas, rather than paying the increased cost for the ingredients.”

Guess Chipotle’s commitment to use organic and sustainable farming methods aren’t all that sustainable.Gold luck running a Mexican Grill without guac.

Oh well. Hey, if Chipotle wants to use asinine policies as best practices and sip from the cup of idiocy in their chain that is their right to do so.

In that same token, it is also our right to purchase our 1,500 calorie burritos elsewhere, or for the sake of our livers, not at all.
