Passport Perils for Venezuelans

I see what you did there...Passport perils.PD warned years ago that if you could get the hell of out Maduro’s Chavist Utopia you should, and now thanks to central planning there isn’t enough paper in Venezuela to make passports.

As with every communist country, waiting in line is an art, and along with breadlines and cooking oil lines, hundreds now line up daily outside Saime, the passport agency, in Caracas.Funny how many people want to leave paradise…

In order to alleviate fears that he’s simply trying to keep Venezuelans from fleeing his paradise, President Maduro announced the creation of an online passport apparatus that will place a 72 hour rush on your passport for double the price.

Conveniently, he hired the firm behind the Obamacare website, so thus far the site is as reliable as any other government promise.
