Genius Idea: Ban Beer and Pornographic Noodles

Remember? The horror. To get a jump start on Spring Break swimsuit stories, Indonesia is back on the ban bandwagon promising to save their citizens from the scourge of Bikini Noodles and alcohol.

Labeled as pornography due to the packaging being of a bikini clad young woman with the tagline, Remas Aku (Squeeze Me in English) Indonesia's Food and Drug Monitoring Agency (BPOM) has called for stores to remove Bikini Noodles from the shelves.

Claiming the packaging to be inappropriate for children, the Indonesian Consumers Foundation (YLKI) applauded BPOM’s attempt to ban the product.Daash? No, the Indonesian Government.

As far as the new legislation to ban alcohol, unlike previously proposed attempts to rid the Nation of wine and beer for religious reasons (you know, it is haram and all that) this time, Indonesian Authorities are pitching the ban for health reasons.

Prohibition definitely makes societies healthier, just look at America’s 21st Amendment (it’s the one under the good and plenty clause).

Genius!
